ENS App and Explorer are on the Sepolia testnet. Features may change before mainnet.
The ENS App can warn you 30, 7 and 1 day before a name expires, and tell you about transfers and ENS Labs updates. Getting alerts takes three things. Sign in with your wallet, add a way to reach you (email, Telegram or browser), then switch on the alerts you want. Everything lives behind the bell icon at the top of the page.
Good to know
Signing in means approving a message in your wallet (Sign-In with Ethereum). It proves you own the wallet and costs nothing: no gas, the network fee.
Verifying a contact method alone sends nothing. You must also switch on a preference and select SAVE PREFERENCES.
Alerts about transfers, and the education and onboarding messages, are always on once a contact method is verified; in-app notifications are always on.
Set up notifications
Sign in with your wallet. Select Sign in with Wallet on the Verify your wallet prompt when the dashboard loads, or select your address at the top right and pick Verify wallet ownership.
Open the settings. Select the bell at the top of the page, then the cog at the top right of the panel.
Add a contact method. The settings page shows three cards:
Email: type your address, select SEND VERIFICATION, then open the link in the email. The row turns green and reads Verified.
Telegram: select Telegram Notifications and log in with Telegram (see the common questions).
Browser: select ENABLE, allow the browser prompt, then switch the toggle on.
Choose what you are told about. Once a method is verified, a Notification Preferences section appears with three toggles, all off: Name Expiry, ENS Labs Updates and Favourited Name Expiry (for names you saved with the heart icon). Switch on the ones you want and select SAVE PREFERENCES. Your alerts are now live.

Change your settings later
Settings is bell → cog, or your address at the top right → Notifications → Settings.
To remove an email, open the … menu on the Email row, pick Remove and confirm. While an address is still Pending, the same menu offers Resend Verification.
To remove Telegram, select the × on your handle and confirm.
The three toggles are the only alerts you can switch on or off.
Read your notifications
The Inbox collects everything ENS sends you. Open it from the bell, or from your address at the top right → Notifications → Inbox. Use the tabs to filter by All, Expiry, Transfers, Education, ENS Updates or Onboarding, and the toggle to show only unread. Mark notifications read one at a time, or clear the lot with Mark all as read.

Common questions
Why does the bell do nothing when I select it?
You have not signed in with your wallet yet. Notifications sit behind a wallet sign-in; once you have signed in, the bell works.
Why isn't my email getting notifications?
Check three things. The Email row must read Verified in green; nothing sends while it is still Pending. The matching toggle under Notification Preferences must be on and saved with SAVE PREFERENCES; verifying alone is not enough. And look in your spam or blocked-senders folder, where the first message from a new sender often lands.
What happens during the Telegram sign-in?
Selecting Telegram Notifications opens a window at oauth.telegram.org. That is Telegram's own login, not ENS. Pick your country, enter your Telegram phone number and select CONTINUE. Then open Telegram on your phone and select Confirm on the login request, which shows the site (app.ens.dev), your browser and location. The window closes, your handle appears on the settings page, and the ENS Earl bot (@ens_earl_bot) opens a chat confirming you are connected.
If the window closes too early you see Popup closed before authentication; select Telegram Notifications again to retry. If your wallet has connected Telegram before, re-adding skips the login and completes in one step.
