How do I upload an avatar & banner?
You set both the avatar and banner (also called the header) the same way. Neither has a visible button. Hover to see the upload prompt.
1. Select Edit Profile and hover over the avatar or banner
In Profile Editor, hover over the avatar square or banner area and select it to open the editor. A window opens with two options:
Upload or drag & drop. Drop an image into the dashed-border zone, or select
Browse Filesto pick one from your device. Supported formats are JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP.
Enter URL Manually. Select this row to paste a link to an image, then select
Preview Imageto confirm it loads.

2. Upload a file & Sign message
Drag and drop, browse for a file, or paste a link.
Approve the message in your wallet. This proves the upload is yours, stores the image, and costs no gas (network fee).
The image updates in the editor, but isn't saved to your profile yet.
3. Save Changes
Note: onchain changes cost gas — the network fee Ethereum charges to process a transaction. It is paid in ETH from your connected wallet and goes to the network, not to ENS. Your wallet shows the exact fee before you approve.
Select Save Changes.
Review the popup and confirm the transaction.
Note: Upload and save are two separate steps. The image is staged after uploading but will not appear on your profile until you save changes.
How do I pick a Theme colour?
Theme colour appears across your profile. You can change it anytime.
While in Profile Editor, select any swatch.
The active swatch shows a white tick and a ring, and your profile name takes the new colour.Then Save Changes.
