How do I bulk-renew several names at once?

Renew several .eth names in one go: select the names, pick a duration, and approve one payment. Any wallet can renew.

Renew several .eth names in one go: select the names you want, pick how long to extend, and approve a single payment. Renewing only moves the expiry dates — every name keeps its owner, manager, and records.

Good to know

  • Renewal fees apply per name — one payment covers the whole batch.

  • Any wallet can renew any .eth name. Renewing doesn't change ownership.

  • Names in Grace Period can still be renewed at the standard price.

How do I renew several names together?

In ENS Explorer, connect your wallet, then open your address page and its Names list — your account menu (top right) → your address → Names.

  1. Tick the checkbox beside each name you want to extend. A … selected bar appears at the top with an Extend button.

  2. Click Extend, then I Understand on the note that extending a name doesn't change its owner.

  3. In Extend names, set the length with the For … year stepper (or Pick by date). Each name shows a subtotal, with a combined Total below. Click Next.

  4. On Confirm extension, check the new expiry dates and total, then choose a payment method (for example USDC or DAI).

  5. The Transaction Manager lists each step — an Approve payment step plus an Extend [name] step for every name — with estimated gas. Click Start, then Open wallet, and approve each transaction. The batch finishes once they confirm.

Once the transactions confirm, the new expiry date shows on each name.

Common questions

How much does it cost?

Each name is charged its normal annual fee, and the batch is paid as one total. See full pricing.

Can I renew names I don't own?

Yes. Any wallet can renew any .eth name — for a friend, a community, or a name you manage. Renewing never changes who owns the name.

Can I renew a name that has already expired?

If the name is in its Grace Period, yes — it renews at the standard price. After the Grace Period ends the name can only be registered as new, not renewed. See Name expiry and grace period and Name lifecycle.

Can I renew one name on its own?

Yes — open the name and extend it directly. See Extend (renew) a name.
